License: GPLv2 The tools can be used to split and join files (with or without automatic checksum control) in a way compatible with many other similar application (hjsplit), using preset sizes (1,40 MB floppy disk, 650 or 700 MB CD) or highly customizable (even at Byte level) free size; moreover it can be used to byte-by-byte compare two files and to checksum a file. File Tools usually doesn't need any kind of installation, simply copy the executables where you desire. Version 1.01 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.
